PADI 5 Star Dive Center

Bluefindivers was established at Naxos Island (Cyclades, Greece) by the professional diver Mr. Panagiotis Niflis on 2006 simultaneously with the lifting of free diving legal prohibition.

The whole Aegean Sea region between Naxos and Paros islands constitutes an exceptionally destination for diving and exploring underwater world with picturesque environment, crystal waters and magical locations.

Stories that started as a myth and several informations from local fishermen were gathered, investigated and confirmed by Bluefindivers.

We can provide a special underwater tour to special spots for unforgettable plunges such as:

  • The “Broken Ship”, the wreck of cargo ship “Marianna” which sunk in 1982 at the duration of a severe storm.
  • The “Wooden Seaplane”, the remains of a World War I aircraft Arado.
  • The “Lost Beaufighter”, a British bomber aircraft which sunk during World Word II.
  • The “Mermaids Cave”, an ancient concealed and underground cavern at Padieronissi islet.
  • A variety of magical reef dives.

We keep exploring new hidden places in order to provide you with more and more diving spots.

Our technical equipment consists of:

  • A 9 meter polyesteric boat with 320HP Mercruiser engine, which can transfer safely and comfortably up to 12 divers
  • A 7,5 meter inflatable boat with 200 HP Yamaha engine which can transfer up to 10 divers.
  • A latest technology “Paramina”(13,000 lt per hour) compressor.
  • Scubapro and Cressi equipment excellently maintained.
  • All our services and equipment are approved by the BVQI.

The seafront location of the dive center in the most beautiful beach of the island is easy accessible from all the areas of Naxos.

  • No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.

What to expect

You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. When you make your open water dive, you’ll practice some more skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure. Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear. Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater. Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive. Have fun swimming around and exploring. Hear about becoming a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course. Most of all, have fun!
