If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts.
There are three parts to the PADI Open Water Diver certification course. Academic (about seven hours of self-study, a five-chapter manual, and a final exam), five confined dives (roughly three hours of pool exercises), and four open water dives which can be completed in two days.
To cover the academic aspect in advance, we will send you an e-book before arriving to Belize.
The maximum depth for the first two dives in the Open Water certification course is 40 feet at some of the best sites available directly in-front of our dive shop.. Our dive locations outside the reef are used for dives three and four, with a maximum depth of sixty feet. Every training dive is conducted at a the same dive sites where certified divers dive filled coral and marine life such as sharks, rays, turtles and much more.
This course includes instructor costs, equipment rental, confined/open water dives and e-book.
Classes are personable and friendly; with our onsite pool and the reef at our doorstep, Belize is a great place to become Open Water Certified and having the time to explore our beautiful country under and above water.
We offer free SCHEDULED pick up and drop off by boat from the nearest pier of your place of stay. We offer pick ups as far north as Coco Beach Resort and as far south as Hol Chan Reef Villas.
