What to expect

Schedule for Open Water Course

Complete online eLearning training on laptop, phone or tablet.

We suggest at least 5 – 10 days to complete this while at home.

Day 1: 10 am – 4 pm
Quick Review & Equipment fitting
Complete Confined water training with us in La Paz in swimming pool.

Day 2: 08.30 am – 4 pm
Complete Open Water dives 1 & 2 in the Marine Park of Espiritu Santo.

Day 3: 08.30 am – 4 pm
Complete Open Water dives 3 & 4 in Marine Park of Espiritu Santo.

Your open water dives will be at the world-famous Espiritu Santo Marine Park. A protected area that serves as the perfect location for your first experience in the ocean. You will be able to enjoy the beautiful and charismatic Californian sea lion as you develop greater mastery of your diving skills. This unique opportunity to complete your open water course surrounded by some of the most playful and curious marine mammals is what makes training with The Dive Gurus so special.
