If you have always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience an unmatched adventure, and explore the world beneath the surface, Ibiza is the perfect place to begin in its crystal-clear waters.
This is the online version of the PADI Open Water Diver course. This means you will study from home instead of during your holiday, which is ideal if you have limited time.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases.
The first is Knowledge Development, which covers everything you need to know about basic diving techniques, terminology, and safety procedures.
The second phase is Confined Water Dives, which are training sessions conducted in a pool or in water with pool-like conditions. These sessions give you the opportunity to become familiar with the equipment you will use and practice basic diving skills and safety techniques.
The third phase is your Open Water Dives. This is where it all begins your first dives in the sea! During four dives, you will practice various underwater and surface skills to ensure you become a safe and competent diver. The training portion usually only takes up the first part of each dive, meaning you will spend much of the time diving with your instructor and exploring the underwater world. Once your instructor approves your open water training dives, you will earn your PADI Open Water Diver certification!
This means you will be able to rent scuba equipment and dive anywhere in the world to a depth of up to 18 meters for life!
We are located inside Marina Botafoch Ibiza. Enter through the main entrance, turn right, and you will find us approximately 50 meters from the entrance. You will see the signs and diving flags. The entrance door faces the sea.
