Earn your PADI Open Water certification in Nusa Penida with expert instructors. Train in the pool, complete 4 ocean dives up to 18m, and explore vibrant reefs and manta ray sites in one of Indonesia’s most spectacular marine environments.
Day 1: You will review the theory with your instructor before heading to the pool to spend the day practicing scuba skills. You’ll become familiar with the equipment and learn how your body responds underwater, building confidence in a controlled environment.
Day 2: You will meet your instructor at our dive center and board our boat for two morning dives around Nusa Penida. During these dives, you will reach a maximum depth of 12 meters while practicing skills and exploring the dive sites.
Day 3: On your final day, you will again meet your instructor at the dive center and head out by boat for two more morning dives. During these last dives, you will reach a maximum depth of 18 meters, continuing to practice your skills while enjoying the underwater scenery.
During your ocean dives, you will typically explore the south of Nusa Penida on one day, with the chance to see majestic manta rays. On another day, you will usually dive in the north, known for its breathtaking coral reefs and frequent turtle sightings.
Swimming Pool and Theory Review will be conducted in Dune Penida Dive Resort (Above Adiwana Warnakali Hotel). We can organise a pick up on day 2 and 3 if your hotel is at less than 5km.
