If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three parts. The first part is about acquiring knowledge and covers everything you need to know about the technical basics, terminology and safety of diving. The second part involves dives in "confined water", that is, training sessions in confined open water, which includes pools or bodies of water with protected areas. They offer you the opportunity to get used to your equipment and practice the basic skills of diving and the techniques that will keep you safe. We do these 5 dives on 4 dates, each lasting around 3.5 hours. In the third part you do open water dives. After all, that's why it's happening - you're diving in the sea for the first time! During the four dives you practice various skills so that you can move safely and competently as a diver underwater and on the surface. The training session usually only takes up the first part of the dive, which means that the rest of the time you can explore the underwater world with your instructor. Once your open water training dives are approved by your instructor, you will receive your "Open Water Diver" certification from PADI! Now you can rent scuba equipment for life and dive to a depth of 18 meters worldwide!
