Dive Friends Bonaire @ Hamlet Oasis

Dive Friends Bonaire @ Hamlet Oasis is a waterfront PADI 5* IDC Dive Center.

As one of the 5 award winning Dive Friends Bonaire dive centers on the island, you can rely the team's wealth of local knowledge.

PADI courses from Discover Scuba through Open Water and Pro-level training is offered. Specialties include Self-Reliant Diver, Night Diver, Sea Turtle Awareness Distinctive Specialty and more.

Daily shore and boat diving is available with an experienced guide or as a buddy team. Cliff dive site can be reached from the shore outside the dive shop, and is one of Bonaire's only wall dives. UV night diving is not one to miss!

Orientation dives at the Bonaire Marine Park are offered at any time during business hours for maximum convenience and is mandatory.

Facilities include gear rental, storage, rinse tanks, a dive accessory and souvenir shop, classrooms, shaded relaxation area and fish ID library.

A mandatory buoyancy check on the house reef is a prerequisite for all divers on the island, including those planning boat dives. Given the early morning departure of the boats, this check must be completed on the day preceding the first boat dive, ideally before 3:30 pm. Upon arrival, the diving staff is available to schedule the mandatory orientation at a time convenient for the diver. This orientation includes a briefing on Marine Park regulations, and the staff provides assistance in conducting the buoyancy check while ensuring that all diving equipment is in proper working order

Requirements

Minimum age: 18+
Min. certification: Divemaster Certification required
Min logged dives: +50 logged dives required
1. PADI Divemaster or: • an instructor member in good standing (renewed or eligible to renew) with another recognized recreational diver training organization.* • have a leadership-level certification in good standing (renewed or eligible to renew) with another recognized recreational diver training organization;* 60 logged dives; documented experience in night diving, deep diving and underwater navigation. 2. 18 years old 3. Medical clearance attesting to dive fitness signed by a physician within the previous 12 months, and have had no medical condition changes. 4. Certified diver for at least six months. 5. Completed the EFR Primary and Secondary Care course, or other qualifying training, within the last 24 months. Note: Emergency First Response Instructor (or qualifying rating) is required for Open Water Scuba Instructor certification. 6. If not a PADI Divemaster, successfully complete the PADI Divemaster course diver rescue skills assessment. 7.
