Min logged dives: None
No prior experience with scuba diving is required. You must be in good physical health and be able to float for 10 minutes and swim 200 m unaided and without stopping. Students will need to complete a self-assessment medical form at start of course

What to expect

The PADI Open Water Diver course in Koh Tao, Thailand, is your gateway to scuba diving. It consists of three key phases:

Knowledge Development – Learn the basics of scuba diving, including terminology, techniques, and safety procedures.
Confined Water Dives – Practice essential skills in a pool or controlled water setting, becoming familiar with diving gear and techniques.
Open Water Dives – Experience your first ocean dives in real-world conditions. Perform skills underwater to ensure you’re a safe, competent diver.
