Our PADI Wreck Diver course takes three consecutive days, in the period between May and October. Courses generally start on alternate Mondays. Other dates are available on request for a minimum of two students.
Few days after booking you will receive the PADI digital training material to immediately start your adventure by learning the basic techniques for wreck exploration. This will allow to spend more time underwater with your instructor to practice and gain experience.
The course starts with the description of the proper equipment configuration and of the main procedures for wreck diving followed by a training dive from the shore. Candidates have to opportunity to practise and refine their basic diving skills and to become familiar with the equipment and the right procedures for safe and enjoyable wreck diving. The following day the candidates continue to practise by joining a morning boat trip to the Portofino marine protected area, including a shallow wreck dive.
