Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want a diving experience to explore underwater without a full course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you.
You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional.
Your adventure begins before you arrive. After booking, we will send you the link to access the online theory. This can be completed on your phone or computer and takes about 20 minutes. You can learn the basic safety theory at your own pace, so you arrive at the dive centre feeling confident and ready.
What to expect on your diving adventure:
1) A warm welcome: Meet your diving instructor at our modern dive centre. We will get your equipment ready and ensure you are comfortable.
2) Pre dive briefing: In a relaxed briefing your instructor will show you how to use the dive equipment, and explain the basic skills you will practice.
3) Shallow water practice: We start in shallow water on our house reef. You'll take your first breaths and practice simple skills until you feel 100% comfortable.
4) The open water dive: Once you are ready, your instructor will lead you on a guided tour of our reef (max 12m). Keep your eyes peeled for the colourful wrasse, parrot fish and maybe an octopus!
Pick up and drop off can be arranged for accommodation in the following areas: Bugibba, Qawra, St Paul's Bay, Xemxija. If your hotel/apartment or Air B&B is situated in the above areas, you will be required to stand outside the main entrance at the requested pickup time. An accurate address of your accommodation is requested in order for the instructor to collect you and can be provided after booking.
