You will need to have completed the PADI Open Water Diver eLearning programme before arrival and bring your eRecord along. This is the theory and knowledge development part of your PADI Open Water Diver course.

What to expect

Here’s what you can expect from the standard PADI Open Water Diver Course

Prerequisite: Complete the PADI e-Learning (theory modules) before arrival. This typically takes about three days at your own pace. Upon arrival, you'll review the quizzes and theory with your dive instructor.
Day 1:
- 9a.m. Pool session
- Review of theory quizzes and tests with your instructor
- Practice essential scuba skills in a controlled environment
- Back to hotel around 14:00-15:00
Day 2:
- Two boat dives in the ocean
- Max depth up to 12 m
- Focus on practising skills learned in the pool under real diving conditions
- 8:00-15:00 +-
Day 3:
- Two additional boat dives, up to 18 m depth
- Apply and refine your diving skills in deeper, open-water settings
- 8:00-15:00 +-
