Looking for the first step in working with scuba diving as a career? Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program.
PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. Being a PADI DM is the prerequisite certification for both Assistant Instructor and Instructor certifications.
During the PADI Divemaster program, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems as well as helping to improve your diving skills. You put this knowledge into action through a structured internship or series of practical training exercises.
We normally conduct a Dive Master program with internship. This means you help us with everyday diving logistics and dive shop duties so that you understand the real role of a certified dive master.
You should be based in Air Batang Bay on Tioman Island as you will join us for a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks to complete your Divemaster program.
