Become an Open Water Diver at your own pace in our small group courses
Getting your PADI open water certification in Honduras is doing it right! Calm, clear, warm waters make this the perfect training environment. Our boutique dive center, top notch give gear, comfortable and customized dive boats and small group sizes will provide you with an excellent earning environment so you can fully focus on tackling this new adventure.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases. Phase one, also known as knowledge development, will be done with the PADI eLearning that we will provide you with in this package. In this phase, you'll learn about scuba equipment, hand signs and terminology, and it will also talk you some essential scuba diving skills. Knowledge development can be completed at your own pace – over a few weeks, or a matter of days - even from the comfort of home to not waste vacation time on studying.
Next, we practice scuba skills in the shallow waters of our bay. During these training sessions, you’ll get comfortable wearing scuba gear and learn essential skills such as how to clear water from your mask, do a pre-dive safety check, and make ascents and descents.
The Open Water Diver phase - the last and also best phase of them all - includes four dives on our stunning divesites. During each one, you'll perform a few skills followed by a guided dive with your instructor exploring the local reef life. After completing your four training dives, you'll be a certified PADI Open Water Diver for life!
We also include the use of snorkel gear to this package free of charge during your course days so you can even have a look around our pristine bay for some lunchtime or sunset snorkeling.
