With the PADI Open Water Diver course you will learn basic dive theory and practice equipment use in confined water. Together we will then explore the beautiful underwater world of Tayrona National Park to do the four mandatory open water dives.
The PADI Open Water Diver course takes three days to finish and we start courses every day with maximum four students per group.
Our team speaks Spanish, English and German and all course materials are available in many different languages. To save the environment we only work with digital materials.
The course consists of basic dive theory, practical training with the scuba equipment in shallow water (lagoon in Taganga) and four open water dives in Tayrona national park.
The training in the water is in general in the mornings and afternoons you have time to complete the required theory through e-learning. The schedule for the PADI Open Water Diver course looks like this (but is subject to change due to availability of instructors and weather conditions; this means your dives can be mornings or afternoons)
Day 1:

Before starting with the training in the water you must have completed 3 out of 5 sections of the theory (this will take about 3-4 hours).
The boat departures for the morning trip around 8:30 am. We meet at 7:30 am in the school, and we will be back in the dive shop around 12:30. Depending on your personal course schedule we can also offer diving for course students on the afternoon trip.
