The PADI Freediver course develops the knowledge and skills for basic static apnea, dynamic apnea, free immersion and constant weight freediving to a maximum of 16 meters.
The PADI Freediver course consist of three phases:
• Knowledge development (1 theoretical module carried out through eLearning).
• One confined water session in the pool of the Hotel Oasis Porto Grande (where we have our facilities) in São Vicente island, Cape Verde, where you must meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrate the ability to swim continuously on the surface 200 meters without swim aids, or 300 meters using mask, fins and snorkel.
- Make one static apnea attempt of at least 90 seconds
- One dynamic apnea must be at least 25 meters.
• Two open water training sessions held in São Vicente island, Cape Verde, where you should reach the depth of at least 10 meters in the constant weight freedive.
