If you've always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, live a unique adventure and see the world under the waves, this is the right course for you.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases. The first is knowledge development, which covers everything you need to know about basic scuba diving techniques, terminology, and safety procedures. The second is confined water dives, i.e. training sessions conducted in a swimming pool or in waters with similar conditions to a swimming pool. They give you the opportunity to get used to the equipment you will be using and to practice basic diving skills and techniques for safe diving. The third is open water diving. You will make your first dives in the ocean! During four dives, you will practice various underwater and surface skills to ensure you are a safe and competent diver. The training part usually only takes up the first part of the dive, which means that you will be able to spend a large part of your time diving with the instructor and exploring the underwater world. As soon as the instructor approves your open water dives, you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver! This means that you will be allowed to rent scuba equipment and dive anywhere in the world up to 18m, for life!
