If you've always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience an unparalleled adventure and see the world under the waves, that's where it starts.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases. The first is the development of knowledge, which covers everything you need to know about basic techniques, terminology and safety procedures in scuba diving. The second is Confined Water Dives, which are training sessions conducted in a swimming pool or in water with conditions similar to the swimming pool. They give you the opportunity to get used to the equipment you will use and to practice the basic diving skills and techniques to keep you safe. The third is your Open Water Dives. Here's what it is: you will make your first dives in the ocean! During four dives, you will perform various skills underwater and on the surface to make sure you are a safe and competent diver. The training part usually only takes up the first part of the dive, which means that you can spend a large part of your time diving with your instructor and exploring the underwater world. As soon as your open water dives are approved by your instructor, you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver! This means that you will be allowed to rent diving equipment and dive anywhere in the world up to 18 meters, for a lifetime!
