The Sub Atlantis center has been operating since 1994 in the frame of the renowned Zingaro Nature Reserve, as well as the first protected area established in Sicily, whose crystalline waters attract thousands of tourists every year from all over the world. The divers of the center, professionals in the sector, are available for diving, excursions, courses and snorkeling to be carried out both in the caves and on the wrecks that dot the depths of the Zingaro Reserve and the coast from Castellammare del Golfo to San Vito Lo Capo, jewels of the Western Sicily. The Sub Atlantis Center, located right at the port of Castellammare del Golfo, has a large rental equipment but not only! is also able to provide assistance for accommodation in holiday homes and B & Bs

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 12+
  • Min. certification: Open Water Certification required
  • Min logged dives: 4 logged dives required
  • Enrollment in Open Water Diver course.

What to expect

Learn why nitrox allows you to make longer dives and how to dive nitrox safely. EANx divers need to know what mix they’ve got (and, therefore, their MOD). In the initial phase you'll learn how to analyze a tank with an oxygen analyser to check the percentage of oxygen in the cylinder before diving. Learn how to fill out an enriched air log, and set your dive computer for nitrox. There are two optional dives where you can put to practice your knowledge. You can complete the knowledge portion of this course locally or online with eLearning.
