The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with diving emergencies, of minor or greater importance, using various techniques.
Divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging course, yes, but the most rewarding one they have ever attended. Why? Why learn to prevent and manage problems in the water and gain confidence in your diving skills, with the experimentation that you are able to help others in case of need. During the course you learn to become a better dive buddy by exercising your problem solving skills as we also acquire by becoming spontaneous. Plus, the course is pure fun - it's serious, but it gives you the chance to have fun in a world of various trainings where training is required.
PADI (Junior) Adventures Divers who are 12 years old and have completed the Underwater Adventure Adventure Dive can enroll in the Rescue Diver course. You must have also attended a First Aid and Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR and First Aid) training course in the previous 24 months. You can do this training in conjunction with the Rescue Diver course. Your instructor may also offer you the PADI Emergency Oxygen Supplier specialty course to be completed at the same time as the Rescue Diver course.
The diving center is located in Catania inside the Jonio campsite.
