PADI 5 Star Dive Center

We are Lekker Divers, your go-to crew for discovering the underwater world around our little paradise known as the Perhentian Islands. We’re open from March to October, stationed right in the middle of Long Beach on Pulau Perhentian Kecil (small island). We speak English, Malay, Dutch, French, Cantonese, Mandarin and Hokkien. So no language barriers here. Families, adventurers, solo seekers – everyone is welcome at Lekker Divers.

Whether you’re a scuba newbie or an experienced diver, we’ll be your dive buddies, island family and a little home away from home. We have more than a decade of experience in diving and teaching around the Perhentian Islands. Now from our new, beach-front dive shop.

What to expect

Buoyancy control is essential to becoming a confident, relaxed diver. Being perfectly balanced allows you to float effortlessly, use air more efficiently and deftly approach skittish marine life to get a closer look. In the first pahse you will determine how much weight you need and where to place trim weights to streamline your body position. During two dives you’ll fine-tune your weighting during buoyancy checks and master neutral buoyancy with inwater practice.
