PADI Advanced Open Water Course at Cha Cha Cha Dive Shop
Ready to take your diving to the next level? The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to help you refine your skills and gain more confidence in deeper waters. Here’s exactly what will happen:
You’ll meet us at Cha Cha Cha Dive Shop, where one of our friendly instructors will greet you. You’ll check in, review your documents, and receive any equipment you need. We’ll also go over the plan for the course and answer any questions you may have before heading out.
Your instructor will give you a detailed briefing on the adventure dives you’ll be doing, which include both mandatory and elective dives. The mandatory dives include Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation. Depending on your interests, you’ll also select three additional adventure dives from options like night diving, drift diving, or wreck diving.
Once the briefing is complete, we’ll set up your gear and head out to the dive boat. You'll be diving in some of the most beautiful and accessible spots around Cozumel, with clear waters and abundant marine life. Your instructor will guide you through each dive, helping you master the skills required for each adventure dive.
Over two days, you’ll complete five dives:
Deep Dive: Experience diving to depths of up to 30 meters (100 feet), while learning about the effects of depth on your body and equipment.
Underwater Navigation Dive: Refine your ability to navigate underwater using a compass, natural landmarks, and your environment.
Three Elective Dives: Choose from a variety of adventure dives that interest you most, such as wreck diving, night diving, drift diving, or peak performance buoyancy.
During these dives, you’ll not only improve your diving skills but also explore Cozumel’s vibrant reefs, encounter incredible marine life, and gain more confidence underwater.
After successfully completing all dives and skills, you’ll return to the dive shop where your instructor will give you feedback on your performance. Congratulations, you’re now a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver! You’ll receive a temporary certification card, and your official PADI e-card will be emailed to you soon after.
Before you leave, take some time to celebrate your achievement with photos and maybe even a refreshing drink at the shop!
