Your PADI® Sidemount Diver training begins with completing the PADI eLearning® course Sidemount Diver online. Through independent study, you'll learn about sidemount diving equipment and safety procedures.
Your first day starts in our classroom, you'll work with your instructor and learn how to set up sidemount diving equipment. Once done in the classroom, its off to a local beach club to practice cylinder handling, how to switch from one regulator to another when diving with two tanks, safety procedures and problem management. With your sidemount instructor you will find the right placement for your dive weights so you can comfortably maintain a streamlined position.
On day two you, along with your instructor will do your first full sidemount dive on one of our local reefs!
On your third day, you will enjoy two more dives either from shore or from one of our boats.
