At Stauffacherquai 54 in Zurich, you will find the by far largest diving and water sports shop in the Zurich region. Despite our size we want to make every diver feel right at home and provide you with the most personal service. We are not only a PADI 5* IDC Center, but also a proud PADI Eco Center focussed on sustainability efforts, a scuba gear paradise and your travel expert. Plus we have an in house bar with an Amboss beer tab to share your favourite diving stories with other likeminded divers.

We offer all courses from PADI beginner to PADI professionals, organise weekend trips, events for divers as well as non-divers (many of which are even free of charge, like our popular Sunday Diving Excursions), international scuba vacations, retail sales for any equipment needs you can dream of as well as repair and servicing for your favourite gear.

No experience with scuba diving required. You must be in good physical health & be able to float for 10 minutes & swim 200m unaided & without stopping.

What to expect

This course with us allows you to make the most of your vacation time abroad. You can start your course from the comfort of your own home with the PADI eLearning®. Then you will jump into the pool for all confined water training sessions of the course with us here in Zurich. This is where you’ll get to take your first breath underwater. You’ll practice using scuba gear with your instructor until you’re comfortable. During the confined water sessions, you’ll learn the basic skills in a progressive order. Each skill, such as ascending or clearing your mask, builds on the ones previous to it. PADI training includes practice “mini dives” to help you build confidence in your new abilities and allow you to try out your skills in a variety of scenarios.

During your vacation you now only need to complete part 2/2 to become a fully certified Open Water Diver. This consists of 4 training dives directly in the ocean where you can explore and enjoy the beautiful underwater world without worrying about too many skill sessions.

Meet at the dive center

Arriving by car We are easiest be located by using GPS if you arrive by car. The next highway entry/exit is just around the corner so it is comfortable to navigate to and from our dive shop from any nearby town or city. If you want to park your car you can either use the blue parking zones around our shop (don't forget to place a blue Swiss parking card in your front window) or use one of our customer parking spots located in the inner courtyard. To find the courtyard parking please enter Schöntalstrasse 1, 8004 in your GPS to locate the correct entry way. We are located right along the river Sihl and super close to the Silhölzli running tracks. The stores next to us are Pure Living and Möbel Factory.
