We usually get back to you within 24 hours to confirm that your booking is final

3. 48H FREE CANCELLATION PERIOD

You then have 48 hours to take care of other travel arrangements. Your credit card will only be charged after that period

Best dive sites in Grand Bahama (Freeport)

There are nearly 50 dive sites immediately surrounding Grand Bahama Island with several more located within a short boat ride offshore. If you’re here for the shark diving, don’t miss Tiger Beach or Shark Junction. Popular wreck dives include Theo’s Wreck and Sugar Wreck at Grand Bahama. You should also check out Jose’s Wreck, a tugboat that balances on two separate corals. You can actually swim under the boat to see the hidden wildlife beneath, a rare treat! For walls and coral reefs, divers can head to the shallow reefs of Silver Reef and Sanctuary Reef or the medium-depth reefs such as Angel Camp and The Chamber. There are also a few deep reefs for advanced divers like Gail’s Grotto and Tunnels.

Snorkeling in Grand Bahama (Freeport)

As a popular tourist destination, Grand Bahama Island has plenty of snorkeling opportunities. Many of the best sites are located offshore and accessible only to guests on boat tours. However, Paradise Cove and Peterson Cay both have snorkeling spots within swimming distance of shore. If you are interested, several operators on the island provide combination tours with sightseeing, adventure activities and snorkeling throughout the day.

Resort Description

Located in Freeport, 700 m from Lucaya Beach, and just 180 m from Taino Beach and the Caribbean Sea.

The Flamingo bay hotel and Marlin Studios at Taino Beach Resort provides accommodation, free private parking, a bar and a garden. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk as well as free WiFi.

Guest rooms in the resort are equipped with air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a kitchenette and a private bathroom with a shower. All units will provide guests with a microwave.

Facilities include a large outdoor pool with a waterslide, lazy river and a swim up bar, You can play table tennis at The Marlin at Taino Beach Resort.

Grand Bahama International Airport is a 20-minute drive from this hotel.

Please note that the Reef Oasis Viva Bahamas dive shop is not located on the resort premises, and as such, guests will need to arrange for a transfer to and from the dive center. Please be advised that the dive center does not provide a pick-up service.

  • The best airports to fly into is Freeport (FPO)
  • Grand Bahama International Airport is a 20-minute drive from the hotel.
  • The best way to get to the resort is via taxi at the airport. ( As a reference, the taxi fee is about $27.00-$30.00 for the first 1-2 persons and each additional person is $4.00)
  • Check in time is 4 pm.
  • After your check in, please get in touch with the Dive Center during the working hours 8 am – 5 pm at +1 (242) 805-9541 (the number has whatsapp as well)

  • Check-out time is 10 am.
  • After checked out you will need to take a taxi to the airport
