Description

Turneffe Flats is a PADI 5 Star dive resort ideally located on Turneffe Atoll, one of Belize’s most renowned diving regions. With access to more than 65 dive sites and within easy reach of Lighthouse Reef and the iconic Blue Hole, the dive center offers exceptional variety, from vibrant coral gardens to deeper offshore sites.

The program includes up to 18 dives per week, with carefully planned excursions based on conditions, including full-day trips to Lighthouse Reef and the Blue Hole when weather permits. Diving is conducted from a well-equipped 42-foot boat, with a focus on small groups—typically no more than eight divers—ensuring a more personalized and relaxed experience.

Guests benefit from a true valet diving service, with equipment prepared, set up, and rinsed by the team, allowing for a seamless and stress-free experience from start to finish. In addition to guided dives, the resort offers PADI courses, equipment rental, and professional instruction, all delivered with a strong emphasis on service, safety, and comfort.

A typical dive day starts at 08:00 and includes three boat dives, with travel times ranging from 10 minutes to about an hour depending on the site. Lunch is either taken at the resort or packed for the day. Weekly highlights include a Blue Hole trip (weather permitting) and a night dive, usually scheduled midweek.
