Travel Resources

The resort has been granted approval as a quarantine “bubble” resort, due to our remote location. This means guests quarantining with us can dive, snorkel and swim from day one! At the end of quarantine guests will complete a PCR test at the resort, and once a negative result is achieved, they can not only keep diving, but will also be able to go on excursions and enjoy our wonderful Spa.

Guests travelling to quarantine in the Bunaken area must arrive on the Scoot Airlines (subsidiary of Singapore Airlines) flight from Singapore. Currently, these flights operate every Wednesday and Friday, however, we expect additional days will be added once there are more passengers wanting to fly this route. The Scoot flight can be purchased on Singapore airlines website as part of an initial ticket.

We usually get back to you within 24 hours to confirm that your booking is final

3. 48H FREE CANCELLATION PERIOD

You then have 48 hours to take care of other travel arrangements. Your credit card will only be charged after that period

Description

PADI Siladen Resort & Spa is a 5* PADI Dive Resort with access to 50+ premium dive sites.

Opened in 2003 Siladen Resort & Spa, is an exclusive award winning boutique dive resort located on Pulau Siladen, a lush tropical island in the heart of the Bunaken National Marine Park, a protected ocean area known worldwide for the richness of its waters and being the epicentre of global marine biodiversity.

The conditions in Bunaken are great for photographers, walls, muck and night diving.
Dive sites are mainly colourful coral walls, white and black sand slopes. And a wreck is available.
Possibility of day trips to Bangka area and Manado Bay. 

Groups are kept small (1 guide to 4 divers) and nitrox is available. Dive trips depart daily at 8am and 3pm. Night and dusk diving is possible at no additional charge. 
We can offer up to 4 dives a day.

The resort got 6 fast fiberglass boats. The boats have seating, dry storage, fresh towels, first aid kits, emergency oxygen, drinking water, coffee and tea. Fresh fruit and snacks are provided between dives.
Both Air and Enriched Air Nitrox are avaliable. 

The resort offers PADI courses from Open Water Diver to Divemaster; taught in English, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Indonesian. 
Diving and snorkelling equipment is available for rent.

Resort Description

Siladen Resort & Spa is a boutique dive resort on Pulau Siladen, in Bunaken National Marine Park.

Bunaken in North Sulawesi offers marine ecosystems home to turtles, occasional reef sharks, sea snakes, dolphins, pilot whales and eagle rays. Resident macro fauna includes pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, scorpionfish, decorator crabs, neon coloured blennies and more. Sperm whales and dugongs are sometimes spotted! 

The resort blends traditional architecture with modern, minimalist decor. Rustic villas contain luxurious four poster beds with crisp white linens, air-conditioning, mosquito drapes and open air bathrooms. Guestrooms are connected with the resort amenities via stone pathways lined with glowing lanterns and trees. 

Facilities include a pool, lounge and beach bar, boutique shop and spa.

How to get there

Arrival

  • Guests are welcomed at Manado airport by our front office staff and escorted by shared transfer to the resort.
  • Transfer time to the resort is approximately 90 minutes depending on weather and tide conditions.

Departure

  • A return transfer to the airport will be provided. The return journey will also take around 90 minutes.
