Tioman Dive Resort

Tioman Dive Resort is located on Air Batang Beach on Tioman Island in the South China Sea. 

Over 20 dive sites offer the chance to dive amongst beautiful coral gardens, tropical reef fish, turtles, sharks, cuttlefish and nudibranch. The region is renowned as one of the best macro diving spots in the world. 

This resort is comprised of a double storey beachfront building that offers some of the nicest rooms on the island. All have air conditioning, balconies, hot water showers and satellite TVs with DVD players. 

The sparsely-inhabited island is covered in one of the oldest rainforests on earth, home to many endemic species. Spend your time beach hopping, snorkelling and learning about Tioman's rich cultural history. 

Arrival

• You can get to Tioman Island either from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. The journey is overland to Mersing ferry port and from there by ferry to Tioman Island.
• The overland journey can either be conducted by public bus or by private car which the resort can arrange (additional cost).
• To be safe, an early departure from your location (e.g. a hotel/airport in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore) is required to arrive at the ferry port in time to catch a ferry over to Tioman.
• The car ride from Singapore takes between 3-4 hours, from Kuala Lumpur (KL) between 4-5 hours. KL is further but more convenient as there is no more border crossing.
• The ferry ride to Air Batang Bay (usually the 4th ferry stop) takes around 2 ½ hours. 
• There are time constraints for the ferries. Ferry departure time changes almost daily so the transfer has to be pre-arranged upon booking.
• There are two ferry ports for Tioman – either Mersing or Tanjung Gemok. Please get in touch with us directly to figure out which ferry port and ferry time works best for you. This is especially important for last minute bookings.
• Check in time is 2pm. Complimentary early check in is possible if the rooms are available, but is based on availability and cannot be confirmed in advance. 

Departure

• You can return to the airport in the same way that you arrived. Transfers can be arranged by the resort for an additional fee (prices depend on the departure location).
• Check out time is 12pm. Late check out is possible for an additional charge and can be booked in advance. 

Getting to the Dive Center

• Once you arrive in ABC, walk down the jetty and turn left. You'll come to the reception/dive centre after a leisurely 3-5min walk.
