Filitheyo Dive Center is a PADI 5-Star dive center located at Filitheyo Island Resort in Faafu Atoll — one of the Maldives’ most untouched and least crowded diving regions.
As the only resort in the entire atoll, it offers a rare advantage: exclusive access to over 40 dive sites with little to no boat traffic. Diving in this area is authentic, relaxed, and truly exploratory, far from the busy routes of other atolls.
Diving here combines vibrant coral reefs, dynamic channels, and rich marine biodiversity. Depending on conditions, divers regularly encounter reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, large schools of reef fish, and seasonal manta rays. From colorful thilas and shallow reefs to current-swept kandus and exciting channel corners, the variety of dive environments makes Faafu Atoll suitable for both beginners and experienced divers.
The house reef is one of the highlights of the resort, featuring seven clearly marked entry points that allow for flexible and easy access. It offers healthy coral, abundant marine life, and the option for relaxed exploration, drift dives, or night diving — all just steps from the beach.
Daily diving is structured yet flexible, with boat dives scheduled in the morning and afternoon, complemented by unlimited house reef diving throughout the day. Small groups, detailed briefings, and careful planning based on currents and conditions ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for every diver.
The dive center is fully equipped with modern ScubaPro rental gear, Nitrox (free for certified divers), and traditional dhoni boats. A professional, multilingual team provides personalized service, whether guiding certified divers or delivering courses from beginner to advanced levels.

NOTE: Divers aged 75 or older must provide a medical certificate confirming fitness to dive, issued by a doctor familiar with diving medicine. The certificate should include current health conditions and any medication details, and should be sent at least 7 days before arrival to [email protected].
