Description

MSTS at Kagi Maldives is a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre offering scuba diving and snorkelling experiences for beginners and certified divers. 

Its experienced, multilingual team provides a full range of PADI courses and personalised guidance, allowing guests to explore the underwater world at a relaxed and comfortable pace. 

The resort’s spectacular house reef is easily accessible from the beach, arrival jetty and sunset jetty, with guided and independent dives available after the initial orientation dive. Divers can also visit nearby sites featuring manta rays, shark-filled channels, colourful soft-coral overhangs and turtle encounters. 

The surrounding reefs are home to sea turtles, rays, reef sharks, moray eels and thousands of tropical fish, making Kagi an excellent year-round destination for both diving and snorkelling. 

Note: Up to three guided boat dives are offered daily, including morning, afternoon and night dives, depending on the schedule and demand. Boat dives visit a variety of sites across North Malé Atoll, while the resort’s house reef is available for training, check dives and recreational shore dives. The boat returns to the dive centre after each dive, allowing guests to join one, two or all scheduled dives. Timings may vary according to weather, demand and special excursions.

Kagi Maldives Resort & Spa is a luxurious resort nestled in the North Malé Atoll, just 57 kilometers from the Maldivian capital, Malé. Kagi Maldives Resort & Spa is a boutique island retreat at the northern tip of North Malé Atoll, 54 km from Velana International Airport. Inspired by Zen architecture and a philosophy of simple, balanced living, the resort combines contemporary Maldivian design with a peaceful, intimate atmosphere. Its 50 villas are set either along the beach or over the lagoon, each featuring a private pool, spacious terrace and plenty of privacy.

Dining is spread across a selection of restaurants and relaxed social spaces, with cuisine ranging from international favourites to Italian and Pacific Rim flavours. How to get there

Arrival

  • The nearest airport is Velana International Airport (MLE).
  • Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed by the CCR Airport Team in Terminal 1 and assisted with their chosen transfer.
  • Seaplane transfer: The scenic flight to Kagi Maldives takes approximately 15 minutes. Guests are escorted to the Trans Maldivian Airways check-in counter at Gate 4 and transferred to the lounge before departure. Seaplane transfers operate during daylight hours and are available for international flights arriving between 06:00 and 15:00. 
  • Speedboat transfer: Private and combined transfers are available and take approximately 60 minutes. Combined transfers normally require a minimum waiting time of one hour. The final speedboat from the airport to Kagi departs no later than 02:00.  
  • A private luxury yacht transfer is also available for up to 12 passengers and takes approximately 60 minutes. Flight details, full names and ages of all passengers must be provided at least 7 days before arrival. 
 
Departure
 
  • Return transfers are arranged according to the selected transportation method and international flight schedule.
  • Seaplane transfers are available for international flights departing from 09:00 onwards. The final seaplane normally leaves Kagi between 14:00 and 16:00. 
  • The last speedboat from Kagi to Velana International Airport departs no later than 19:00.
