Kuredu Resort & Spa

As an anxious person, I like to have everything under control. So the thought of traveling to the other side of the world with my wife and our 3-year-old daughter felt overwhelming. But once we arrived at Kuredu, I was able to truly relax. The staff had everything perfectly arranged, making our stay completely stress-free. From the moment we landed in Malé, the experience was seamless. We were guided effortlessly through the seaplane transfer, and upon arrival, everything was meticulously organized. The warm welcome at the resort set the tone, and Qurat was an exceptional host, walking us through the map, activities, and the details of our all-inclusive package. I was fascinated by how smoothly the resort operated—like perfect clockwork. Everything, from the buggies to the restaurants to the activities, was well-orchestrated. The staff was committed to ensuring guests could truly unwind. Our waiter, Sagar, exemplified this—always discreet yet incredibly attentive, refilling our water glasses the moment we arrived at the restaurant. The beach was stunning, especially the snorkeling area in front of the pool. I also appreciated the resort's thoughtful layout, dividing areas by age groups. Traveling with a toddler, it was reassuring to be surrounded by other families with young children. Adjusting to the humidity was difficult for my daughter, but the kids' club staff was incredible. Menuka met us while I was struggling with one of her tantrums. She calmly helped me relax, walked us to the club, and took the time to introduce my daughter to the space until she felt comfortable staying there without me. Thanks to her patience and professionalism, my wife and I could enjoy some much-needed time together. We spent our days unwinding by the pool, swimming at the beach, and enjoying family time in our beach villa, which was maintained with impeccable housekeeping service twice a day. My wife needed to do some work during our stay, and the Wi-Fi was strong enough to accommodate her needs. Beyond relaxation, the range of activities at Kuredu is impressive—from snorkeling and watersports to spa treatments and specialized courses, ensuring everyone can create their ideal experience. The night before our departure, we received mail with a detailed schedule, ensuring a smooth trip back to Malé’s airport. It gave us plenty of time to check in our luggage and even pick up some souvenirs before our flight. We will return to the Maldives for sure, and Kuredu will be our first choice.

The sunrise yoga class with instructor Maja was very interesting. Maja is a very good Pilates and yoga instructor. The class is suitable for beginners and advanced students alike; I had a very good and enjoyable experience this morning.😀🧘‍♂️🌞👍

Overall a fantastic experience, very special and memorable. Went for our honeymoon. Kuredu was an ideal resort, well worth the all-inclusive price but not super expensive. The island had beautiful, clean beaches that stretched into amazingly blue waters, offered lots of land and water activities (thanks to Camilla and the staff at the dive and water sports centers for all the education and assistance), was family friendly but also great for couples. We loved eating at different buffet restaurants and the fun events every night, such as the white party and Maldivian culture night. We got a photo shoot with one of their pro photographers (Aiman, very accommodating and enjoyed the insight into life in the Maldives) and had lunch at 5.8 undersea restaurant at their sister resort Hurawalhi. The dolphin sightings on the sunset cruise, the snorkeling at the house reef and watching green sea turtles graze and breach, seeing a reef shark in the ocean “back yard” of our water villa are all magical memories we take away. From the moment we arrived, with the boduberu drums the staff were not only warm and welcoming but also felt like friends as we got to know some of them personally and they treated us in kind. We thank our island host, Sajini, for being super responsive and answering all our questions. Chef Nino, Abdullah, Kumar and all the diverse restaurant and bartending staff were outstanding, teaching us some local language and making travel suggestions. The buggy drivers, the trainers at the gym, and every single staff member we passed walking the island were super friendly. We loved exploring the food gardens and the environmental consciousness that Kuredu raised. (We were asked to take away dead batteries and all the plastic we had brought to the island, as they have no way of recycling locally.) The seaplane experience and the friends we made who were other resort guests are also wonderful memories. Even a random attendant at the airport helped us figure out taxi or ferry transport to the city Malé. Tip: plan for an extra day in Malé/Hulhumalé and bring reef-friendly (i.e., mineral) sunblock. We got tans without even trying!

We had an incredible time at Kuredu Resort - everything was perfect! The staff were friendly and attentive. Our rep, Abhi, was fantastic and went above and beyond to accommodate us throughout our stay. Our Beach Villa was lovely and was well-equipped and the food was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The island itself was beautiful and had everything to offer. We left with amazing memories and can’t wait to come back in the future.

1st time ever to Maldives, came for my birthday. Want to say massive thank you to all the staff. All the staff are so attentive throughout the resort, made our stay comfortable and worthwhile. For my birthday they did a lovely table setting and made effort to my make my birthday memorable. Every day had different theme for dinner which was lovely, lots of variety. We stayed at beach bungalow which was lovely and private. We did occasionally go out to the main beach but sometimes not enough sun loungers but we made do. Special thanks to Qurat our guide who went that extra step to meet our cultural needs in our bungalow. Unable to remember all the names but thank you to Mounika who was a delight to speak to, very sociable and Suparna who always greeted us with a lovely smile. We did turtle sanctuary and dolphin search and snorkelling, it was amazing we managed to see some right towards the end. Hope to come back again Inshallah!!
