Once we receive your booking, we double check availability with the dive operator and reserve your spot

2. CONFIRMATION

We usually get back to you within 24 hours to confirm that your booking is final

3. 48H FREE CANCELLATION PERIOD

You then have 48 hours to take care of other travel arrangements. Your credit card will only be charged after that period

Description

Oceanholic Dive Centre is a PADI Dive Center on the beautiful Dhigurah Island in South Ari Atoll. 

The dive center is a five minute walk from White Sand Dhigurah and offers incredible access to warm, clear seas and pristine coral reefs. South Ari Atoll is one of the best destinations in the Maldives for seeing mantas, dolphins and whale sharks. 

The team offer personalised service and new rental equipment. The boat heads out for two dives each morning, even if you are the only buddy pair looking to dive that day. 

The dive center has a camera room, classroom and shaded space with table and chairs. The boat is a traditional dhoni with a generous amount of shaded space.

Resort Description

White Sand Dhigurah is a chic guest house on Dhigurah Island in South Ari Atoll, Maldives. 

The property is a two minute walk from the beach and offers modern rooms with queen sized beds and air conditioning. South Ari Atoll is famous for its almost guaranteed whale shark and manta sightings!

There is an on-site restaurant serving Maldivian, Asian and Western dishes. Enjoy your meals indoors or on the huge roof terrace as you watch the sun set over the island's palm trees and vegetation. 

Free WiFi is available throughout the restaurant, lobby and guestrooms. 

 

How to get there

Arrival

  • The best airport to fly into is Male International Airport, from there you have two options to reach the resort:
  • Option 1 - 1 h 30 min speedboat transfer from Male Airport to Dhigurah, available at 11.am (10am on Friday) and  4.00 pm. (Additional cost, advance notice required).   
  • Option 2 - 20 min flight from Male Airport to Maamigili Domestic Airport followed by a 20 min speedboat ride to the resort. These happen more frequently every day. (Additional cost, advance notice required).
  • Check-in time is at 2 pm.

Departure

  • Check-out time is at 12 noon.
  • Once you have checked out at the reception, you can make your way back to the airport in the same way you arrived. The hotel staff will be available to help you get your bags to the boat or ferry, provided you give advance notice (additional cost may apply). 
  • Speed boat times are 6.30am and 1.30pm
