We Really Love Diving

Established in 1967, The Dive Shop is located in Calgary, AB, nestled amongst the stunning Rocky Mountains. We're about as land-locked as you can get, but a quick drive to the mountains gets you into the water in no time.

We are a PADI Five Star IDC Training facility, PADI Freediving Training facility, fill station, service center complete with a fully stocked showroom. We have a incredible team of Instructional staff with very own Course Director, eager to help all levels of divers get into the water and continue their journey. From snorkel lessons to Freediving, Discover Scuba Diving to Instructor Development we love to teach it all!Our philosophy is to train our divers to focus on safe diving practices, keep diving fun, get them into the right gear and be the ultimate enablers for the local water-loving community.

About Our Facility

We have our own on-site training pool. Kept nice and warm, it has a sloping bottom with a small drop-off that makes it perfect for training. We keep the pool fully stocked with all of the rental gear needed to make each student comfortable and successful.

What to expect

Meet us at Forget-Me-Not-Pond for a day of local diving in the clearest waters in Alberta. When you park make your way to the lakeside you can't miss us all in Pink! Dives are not guided, but the pond is small and easy to navigate so it's great for first timers, and experienced divers alike. Freedivers are welcome to explore and celebrate with us! Lunch is provided.

How to get there

The dive site is very small, parking along the main parking lot and walking to the waters edge. You will see a large Dive Shop sign and many people in pink!
