PADI 5 Star Dive Center

Our Sea Dragon Expedition Centre is a full service dive store which is in walking distance to our 40’ customized dive vessel. Feel free to drop in for a chat to ask about the local diving, snorkelling and kayaking!

We provide both air and nitrox fills - individual fills or air cards, all scuba and snorkel rental equipment with top of the line gear, scuba equipment sales and service, scuba lessons - courses from basic scuba to technical diving, and everything in-between.

Sea Dragon provides tours and specialized charters for groups of all sizes. Our boat Topline can accommodate up to 20 guests at a time and offers a variety of schedules to meet your group’s needs. The Topline operates out of Horseshoe Bay. This is a boat custom designed by divers, for divers. She’s safe, fast and comfortable.

Requirements

Minimum age: 12+
Min. certification: Open Water Certification required
Min logged dives: None
Evidence of certification required by all divers; minimum Open Water Diver. Please provide logbook. All divers must follow regulations set forth by certifying agency. Dive equipment available for rent; please notify at time of booking. Minors under 19 must have waiver signed by parent or guardian before boarding. Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Flying and traveling to high elevations within 24 hours of diving is not recommended. Please adjust travel plans accordingly. Please be advised that we reserve the right to charge additional for altered trips including for tech divers (longer prep and bottom time). Please arrive 1 hour prior to scheduled departure and check in at our Expedition Centre. All divers must have an underwater timing device or dive computer. If you do not have one, you must rent one from us for the dive. We recommend you bring: Appropriate clothing for the weather, bathing suit or warm clothes for diving, snacks and drinks, camera, sunscreen and hat, dive gear and necessary equipment (or rent from us), certification card and logbook, gratuities (optional).

What to expect

Explore Howe Sound on a 40-foot vessel specifically customized for divers. This includes an on-board compressor, marine toilet, large dive platform, heated cabin, and topside viewing deck - all of which make a diver's trip comfortable and hassle-free! You'll also receive a hot drink on your surface interval to help you warm up between dives. This tour accommodates all levels of 'certified' divers - recreational to technical.

Meet at the dive center

We are located at the back alley behind the ocean front, look for a scuba flag and sign in at the front desk. You will fill out your paperwork and head straight on to the boat where you will be instructed where to set up your gear.
