What to expect

When you arrive at the dock, you’ll be greeted by an all-star crew and a boat full of amazing women ready to dive in and own the ocean. After a quick safety briefing and gear check, we’ll set off for three unforgettable dive sites on the frontside of Catalina Island. Between dives, enjoy meals and snacks provided by the crew, kick back on deck, swap dive stories, and celebrate the strength and sisterhood that make this day so special.

To make sure you're prepped like the ocean queen you are, here’s what to bring:

  • Your own blanket or sleeping bag and pillow—trust us, post-dive coziness is a must.
  • One FULL air tank (have it checked before you leave the shop—dive like a boss, prep like one too).
  • All your standard scuba gear including weights. Use a checklist and pack in reverse order so what you need first is on top.
  • Essentials: regulator, BCD, mask, fins, snorkel, boots, gloves, hood, exposure suit, SMB, anti-fog, cylinder, dive lights, camera, extra batteries—plus anything else you love diving with.
  • Don’t forget your C-Card, log book, and that lifesaving Save-A-Dive kit (O-rings, straps, computer battery, etc.).
  • An extra towel, sunscreen, a hat, and something warm like a dive parka or windbreaker in case the wind picks up.
  • A change of clothes (jeans and tennis shoes are clutch when the sun dips).
  • Motion sickness meds if you need them—better safe than queasy.
  • Cash for gratuity—$15–$20 is customary, and the crew splits it at the end of the trip.
  • And finally, let someone know you’re out being fabulous underwater. Share your boat name, destination, and return time—because smart women dive smart.

We’ll wrap up with salty hair, full hearts, and memories that last way longer than your bottom time. This isn’t just a dive—it’s a celebration of women who make waves.
