Savedra Dive Center

PADI 5 Star Dive Center

Savedra Dive Center is a PADI 5* IDC Dive Center in Moalboal, Cebu. 

The dive center was founded in 1983 but is now managed by Seven Seas Aquanauts Corp (who run a chain of dive centers across Cebu island). 

The team offer daily shore and boat diving excursions to nearby dive spots, as well as weekly dive safaris through the whole Visayan archipelago. 

Group sizes are kept small (max 4 divers per guide) and there is a house reef, shop, free WiFi and facilities for disabled divers.

What to expect

The 10 dive package is perfect if you want to explore the wonderful coral reefs of Moalboal within a week or so. We meet at the dive center for the dive briefing. The divemaster will give you an orientation into the dive center and the upcoming dive site. Your rental equipment is chosen and we gear up. Off we go to the boat and the dive site.

All dive spots are very close, the boat rides last usually between 5-20 minutes only. Once at the dive spot, we descend on the reef top, carefully adjusting our buoyancy. The reef top ends at a drop off, the wall dropping down to more than 40 meters. There might be some current, but we will drift with the current. We dive along the wall and enjoy the corals and all the other marine life we find along the way. At the end of the dive the boat will pick us up. Back at the dive shop the divemasters will take care of your equipment. They will also help you with logging your dive into your logbook.

Meet at the dive center

We offer a free hotel pick up and drop off service to our guests in the Moalboal area only. If you would like to use this service kindly notify Savedra Dive Center, after you have confirmed your booking and at least one day in advance of your program start date, to make arrangements.
