Based out of Puerto Ayora, in the heart of the Galapagos Islands, Scuba Iguana offers a variety of epic and unforgettable Galapagos diving adventures.

It's time to dive into the underwater world of the Galapagos, among the world's most amazing dive sites and most impressive diving destinations. Swim with huge schools of hammerheads, fur seals, penguins and marine iguanas as they go about their daily business.

For something a little different, opt for night diving at Academy Bay. See one of the "Seven Underwater Wonders of the World' in a totally new way, as the weird and wonderful marine creatures come out to play.

The boat ride to Floreana is quite long, 1.5-2 hours one way. Especially in the cold season water can be choppy. Guests with sickness should consider that.

What to expect

FLOREANA

Location: South of Santa Cruz Island, 3 possible dive sites: Punta Cormorant, Champion, and Enderby; it is 1 hour and a half away from our base.

Site Conditions: mean depth of 18 mtr. Normally this site does not present strong currents. This is a reef dive site where corals and sponges can be found.

Activity: Cleaning station, sea lions, Galapagos sharks, white tip reef sharks, turtles, reef fishes, sting rays, eagle rays, barracudas, variety of invertebrates.

SCHEDULE:

10:30 am: Arrival at dive site. Dive and weight check (30 minutes)

11h30: First Dive (Depth 18-25mts/ 59-82ft. Max time 1 hour)

12h30: Surface Interval (1.5 hour); Snack

1:45 p.m.: Second Dive (depth 18-20mts / 59-65ft. Max Time 1 hour)

2:45 p.m.: Lunch & return

4:30 p.m.: Arrival at Scuba Iguana's dive center.
