Amelie

MY Amelie is a traditional wooden yacht built in the shipyards of Alexandria Egypt; a platform for the restless modern-day adventurers who want to get a glimpse of the underwater beauty of Red Sea.

The Amelie's trips were scheduled in a way that the dive sites can be dived at the ideal time. When building this liveaboard the goal was to build something unique, not only in design, but also in service.

The Amelie is 75 feet (23m) long and 20 feet (6m) wide; was crafted in 1995 and underwent a total overhaul in 2019. Attention has been given to every little detail of the Amelie to ensure that your dream dive holiday becomes reality. The Amelie mission is to make the guest forget that he is on a boat, by offering the best there is in diving and spare-time activities.

Amelie can accommodate 12 guests in 6 comfortable cabins located on the lower deck , each with twin bunk-beds, storage space, charging area and port-hole windows. There are also 2 shared bathrooms with freshwater showers. On the main deck is featured the indoor saloon with the dining area, drinks station and comfortable sofas; for the sun seeker are available many areas of the boat among which there is the top deck whit comfy mattresses to lounge on .

Food as one of the basic human needs plays a crucial role in any dive holiday because it provides both sustenance, strength and pleasure. Therefore the designers of the trips paid special attention to the food offering. Divers created the menu because they know which food will provide strength and energy during a dive safari. Rather than the typical liveaboard food, you will be able to choose from a buffet or its fine cuisine. Furthermore they are also serving snacks all day.

What to expect

Our 8 days/7 nights liveaboard trip program

Day 1:

We arrange the pick up and transfer to the boat.

Once you arrive on board our dive guide and crew will help you with check in procedures, cabin arrangement, equipment set up and boat orientation.

Boat and safety briefing.

Discuss with our dive guide any special request or needs.

Day 2:

Start with our breakfast on board and move to our first dive site, dive site briefing, equipment check, safety check and prepare for water entry.

Our first dive is a check and refresh dive once we are back onboard we do a debriefing and prepare for lunch.

Heading for our second dive site where we will do our night-dive as well.

After second dive we have a snack and enough surface interval before our night-dive.

Once we are back from the night-dive we will have our dinner, debriefing, your feed back and we discuss the next day plan.

Day 3 to day 6:

Wake up and prepare for the first dive ( briefing, dive safety check and water entry).

Breakfast after the first dive and from this day till the day diving breakfast will be after the first dive.

Planning dives from day 3 till day 6 will be 3 day dives + night dive.

All meals plan will be after each dive including snacks and all soft drinks.

Always at dinner time will be a debriefing, feed back about the whole day and planning for the next day.

Day 7:

2 dives and back to the marina after lunch time, chill out on board & dinner, or (land activity on request).

Day 8:

Breakfast and prepare before check out and transfer.

Pick Up Information

We provide the pick service from Hurghada Airport and hotels ( transfer included ). from Safaga, Elquseer, Marsa Alm area ( extra charge depends on distance ). Customers should look for our driver with our logo sign or a sign with their names at the hotel lobby or the location they will tell us so we arrange the pick up time.

Cancellation policy

Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the activity
