Highlights

We are launching at 8 am in the morning and take you out to Protea Banks. Our experienced team will assist you to have two unforgettable dives.

Already the launching of the boat will be an adventure as well as the tour to Protea. You can often spot dolphins on your way out.
Every dive on Protea is different. You will be able to see up to 5 shark species on one dive.
We will be back around 2pm so you will be able to enjoy your afternoon off and prepare for your next dive with us.

Min. certification: Advanced Open Water Certification required
Min logged dives: 30 logged dives required
Requirements differ from the kind of dive we are planning. Diving on Protea Banks is deep, technical, and current-prone. Dive experience is essential. Therefor an Advanced Open Water Certification is required Instructor hire available for less experienced divers. Baited Shark Dive *Open Water Divers Welcome Depth ~10m. Mid-water drift dive with close-up shark interaction (Blacktips, Bull Sharks, & seasonally Tiger Sharks). Good buoyancy required.

What to expect

The beauty of Protea Banks is that it depending on the season you will have the possibility to see up to 5 different species of sharks on one dive. The reefs are alive with a diversity of marine life that you would travel to multiple destinations worldwide to see. Being a Marine Protected Area makes for the life to just absolutely flourish.
