Set outside the Banderas Bay, the location offers the opportunity for a more technical dive to more experienced divers. A series of rock pinnacles extending above the surface, it offers wall diving, a rock cavern, small caves and abundant marine life
El Morro is an advanced dive site located on the northern edge of the Banderas Bay; it's a series of rock pinnacles extending above the surface.
This dive site has depths up to 150 ft, it offers wall diving, a rock cavern at 70-90 feet under the surface, small caves and abundant marine life.
El Morro can be a technical dive, if the ocean conditions are not the smoothest, reason why we go there with experienced divers only.
Los Anegados instead is a rock bank located between Marietas and El Morro.
It's a bank of shallows moving to deeper waters.
It starts off at around 30ft with intricate rock formations and caves.
We leave from our office in town at 8.30 am, drive to Punta de Mita, where our boat is located, and from there we start the excursion. Back in town around 2.30 in the afternoon where we will have lunch at a local restaurant.
