Marietas Islands are considered as one of the best spot in the region. A protected marine park, you will encounter a wide range of tropical fish, series of underwater mountains with several large caves to explore, perfect location for all levels
Marietas Islands is a site suitable for divers of all levels and the dives will be planned according to the level of the group.
We go to the islands for a 2 tank dive.
We usually dive first La Montana, an exploratory dive where the instructor double checks the level of each divers to plan the second dive accordingly.
Second dive is La Pared where we will check the many passages, opening and tunnels down there; Marietas Islands have volcanic origins so there are plenty of those to check out.
You will spend 4 hours out in the ocean, during that time you will dive twice and visit the marine national park in between the 2 dives (no hidden beach)
We leave from our office in town at 8.30 am, drive to Punta de Mita, where our boat is located, and from there we start the excursion. Back in town around 2.30 in the afternoon where we will have lunch at a local restaurant.
