Caño Island has several exceptional dive sites with different characteristics, among which we can highlight: Bajo el Diablo, El Barco, El Ancla and La Cueva. These dive sites are located near the island and present a topography of volcanic origin, making it one of the most diverse reefs in the country.
During the dives, it is common to observe white tip sharks, sea turtles, rays, rays, mobulas, octopus, lobsters, seahorses, large schools of barracudas and many other species. Dolphins, sea turtles and sea turtles can usually be observed from the boat and during the migration season it is possible to watch the spectacle of humpback whales.
The average visibility throughout the year is 12 to 30 meters (40 to 100 feet) and the average water temperature is 28°C (74°F).
