Enjoy two scuba dives on Blue Destiny's 68 ft catamaran at Perth's underwater playground, Rottnest Island in Western Australia. Beautiful limestone reefs covered in soft corals, lots of fish life and a wonderful day out on the boat.
When you arrive at Blue Destiny, you'll be greeted by our friendly staff who will guide you to your hire equipment to inspect before departure. You'll then board the vessel and be invited to have a tea or coffee while our Skipper briefs you on the safety of the vessel, including our special COVID-19 prevention hygiene measures. Our Skipper will select the two best dive sites on the day based on the weather conditions.
Blue Destiny will then depart Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour and travel approximately 45 minutes to Rottnest Island. Our crew will buddy you with another scuba diver with a similar level of experience.
Upon arrival at the first dive site at Rottnest Island our crew will brief you on the dive site and assist you entering the water. You'll have up to 60 minutes to explore with your buddy underwater. When you resurface, you will be helped from the water by our crew. If you surface far from the boat, we have a rescue tender that will come and pick you up to save you a long swim.
We will complete a roll call once everyone returns to the vessel and before we move for lunch. Roll calls are completed to ensure all guests are on board before we move the vessel. You'll usually complete a minimum of 3 roll calls during the day.
After you return from your first dive our crew will serve you a buffet lunch in the saloon. We can cater for special dietary requirements on request including coeliacs, vegetarians and vegans.
After lunch we will move to a second dive site and you'll be once again briefed by the crew. Once you're geared up you'll jump in the water with your dive buddy for up to 60 minutes.
Meet boat (Blue Destiny) at the Molfetta Jetty, just off Mews Road, Fremantle 15 minutes before departure. On weekends all day parking is available at the jetty for approximately $16 per day. On weekday parking is available a short 100m walk away from the jetty.
