PADI 5 Star Dive Center

SCUBA CANCUN is a medium size, family run dive operation based in Cancun that has over 44 years of experience providing divers with fun, safe, and unforgettable experiences scuba diving in Cancun, Cozumel and the Riviera Maya. 

Scuba Cancun is the oldest running dive center in Cancun and the Riviera Maya and prides itself on its excellent service and attention that result in repeat customers year after year. Our dive shop was founded by Captain Luis Hurtado who recently celebrated his 60th anniversary in commercial, military and sport scuba diving. He is the first scuba instructor to teach Scuba Diving in Cancun and still looks forward to providing each and every guest with a memorable diving experience.

  • Wetsuit (shorty)  ( USD 8 ) - bookable in checkout
  • National Park Fees/Marine Park Fees  ( USD 7 ) - mandatory and payable onsite

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 10+
  • Min. certification: Open Water Certification required
  • Min logged dives: 4 logged dives required
  • This activity is not allowed to: • *Pregnant women • *People with any type of ear, heart or lung surgery • *People with heart problems, diabetes, collapsed lung, epilepsy, asthma, high blood pressure, claustrophobia or who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs • Minimum age required: 10 years • Do not exceed alcohol consumption one day before diving • The use of blockers is not allowed • Wait 12-18 hours after diving before traveling on an airplane

Enjoy the sunset in the Mexican Caribbean and enjoy diving in the waters to discover the wonderful night life of the reefs full of life and contemplate the effect of bioluminescence that some marine species emit. A show that you will remember forever.

One tank dive reefs between 45-60 feet deep. (13.70 to 18.20 mts.)
