Good to know

We always send an instructor on our trips, so you can do your certification dives for any specialty or Open Water Diver on this trip!
The diving is a bit different than Caribbean diving. Expect to see big schools of fish, but not a lot of pretty corals.
Water temperature is cooler than the Caribbean. Expect high 70's/low 80's
Dive accident insurance (to include medical evacuation) is mandatory for divers of all ages on all our trips: please bring your certificate as proof. Free DAN insurance is included in the cost of this trip - please let us know if you require it.
Travel insurance and trip cancellation insurance (to include storm coverage where appropriate to the type of dive vacation booked) are strongly recommended. Check our website for affordable options.
Your proof of certification and logbook will be checked during check-in at the dive center to clarify level and experience. Please remember it is your responsibility to ensure you are fit to dive.
Make sure your passport is valid at least six months beyond the date on which you plan to leave the country

Logistics

Plan to arrive at Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) on October 24, 2020 around 12:30PM & leave from the same airport on October 31, 2020 around 1:20PM. Other times are fine though there may be an additional charge for the transfers to/from the resort.
