You will be in awe of the wildlife, with some of the oceans most fascinating creatures residing here, such as the Flamboyant Cuttlefish, mimic Octopus, and Mandarin Fish.

Other Information

Good to know

  • The local currency is the Philippines Peso (PHP)
  • The time zone is UTC +8
  • The power supply is 220V AC/60Hz
  • Many international carriers will allow 25-32kg of baggage allowance, though we suggest packing light. Dress in the resort is casual - shorts, jeans, t-shirts etc, and a warm top is a good idea as well
  • Water temperatures in May are between 26-28 degrees Celsius - a 3mm or 5mm wetsuit is recommended.
  • We recommend bringing a small first aid kit. There is a medical centre in Sabang Beach, and the nearest hospital is 90 minutes away. The closest hyperbaric clinic is in Batangas.

Logistics

  • Trip departure and end point is your accommodation in Manila
  • Pickup on 09/05/2026, will be from 0730
  • We recommend arriving into Manila at least one day before the start of the trip
  • For ease, there are a number of hotels in the vicinity of Ninoy Aquino Airport, Manila. These include: The Hilton; Marriot; Sheraton, and the Savoy.
  • If staying outside of the area of the airport, an added fee may be applied for the transfers
  • For the transfers, we arrange a private shuttle/minivan from Manila to Batangas Port, then a ferry to Balatero. From Balatero, there is a local service to bring us to the resort in Sabang Beach.
  • At the end of the trip, on the 16th of May, 2026, the end point is either your hotel in Manila or Ninoy Aquino Airport
  • If flying out of Manila on the 16th of May, we recommend a flight departure after 1800.
  • Please remember to observe a minimum surface interval of 24 hours, before flying out of Manila at the end of the trip. The last dive on the 15th of May, is a night dive at 1800.
