Description

The Humboldt Explorer offers an unparalleled diving experience in the Galapagos Islands, where guests can explore the vibrant marine life that includes Sea Lions, Turtles, Hammerheads, Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, and more.

This premier 111.5 ft liveaboard accommodates 16 passengers in 8 air-conditioned cabins on the Main and Lower Decks, each offering ocean views, private bathrooms, and flexible bed configurations. With amenities like TV/DVD players, hot water, and fresh linens provided, the Humboldt Explorer ensures comfort throughout your stay.

When not diving, guests can relax on the partially covered Sundeck, featuring a Jacuzzi and ample seating, perfect for unwinding after a day of underwater exploration. For a more intimate setting, the spacious Salon provides a Lounge area with an entertainment system, ideal for watching movies or listening to music. The onboard dining experience includes three hearty meals a day, along with snacks between dives. Guests can also enjoy a range of beverages, including alcohol, with premium options available for an additional fee.

Beyond the dives, island excursions offer a chance to explore the unique flora, fauna, and historical sites that inspired Charles Darwin’s groundbreaking work. The Galapagos Archipelago is a rare terrestrial ecosystem, home to species found nowhere else on Earth, making this a trip of a lifetime for both divers and nature enthusiasts.

Packing for your liveaboard adventure is straightforward. Soft luggage is recommended for easy storage, and casual attire is perfect for the warm climate, though a jacket is advisable for cooler evenings at sea. Essentials include sunscreen, sunglasses, a raincoat, and motion sickness medication if needed. For those traveling through Quito, additional clothing for cooler temperatures and good walking shoes are suggested. Remember, the sun near the Equator can be intense, so strong sunscreen and protective gear are essential.
