Amelie Safari is a 23-metre wooden liveaboard designed for small groups of up to 12 guests, offering diving safaris and private charters from Hurghada.
Built in Alexandria in 1995, the vessel provides an intimate setting for exploring the reefs and wrecks of the Red Sea.
Accommodation consists of six air-conditioned cabins on the lower deck, each with twin bunk beds, storage space, charging areas and porthole windows. Guests also have access to two shared freshwater showers.
Communal areas provide space to dine and relax between dives, while outdoor decks offer areas for enjoying the Red Sea surroundings. Meals, snacks and refreshments are served throughout the trip.
Amelie Safari is equipped for recreational diving, with free Nitrox available for certified Nitrox divers and rental dive equipment available on request. A range of PADI courses can also be completed during selected trips.
Operating mainly from Hurghada, the vessel explores local reefs, islands and wreck sites, with possible highlights including the Giftun Islands, Shaab El Erg (Dolphin House) and the wrecks of Shaab Abu Nuhas. Short mini-safaris and longer Red Sea trips are available, as well as private charters tailored to individual groups.
Non-divers are also welcome on board, with snorkeling and other activities available depending on the itinerary.
