We are passionate Divers. We love the scenery and marine life of Indonesia. We had a dream to build a diving boat according to the highest standards of hospitality and safety. MSV Amira is your ticket to Indonesia's best dive sites. We take you to Komodo, the Dragon Island, with its unique Underwater World and to Raja Ampat, the centre of marine biodiversity. Every year, during special trips, we will also take you to some of Indonesia's unique destinations that you can only visit with MSV Amira.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The 170-foot (54m) Amira is a wooden Phinisi schooner built in 2010 and carries a crew of 24 speaking English, German, French, Indonesian and Italian. This traditionally built sailing liveaboard runs diving charters to some of the most pristine dive sites in the World. Guests are guaranteed to travel in comfort and with a top-quality service to ensure they make the very best diving Indonesia has to offer.
Aboard the Amira, we offer accomodation either in 8 Double and 2 Single cabins. All rooms come with private bathrooms with hot showers, windows or portholes, air-conditioning with individual climate controls and TV's with media players. Other amenities include ceiling fan, towels and toiletries, reading lights, clothing storage, safe, bedding, room for luggage, 220V and 2-pin plugs with adapters available.

Guests of the Amira have many options for entertainment as well as diving
Activities include fish identification sessions, photo sharing, movies and a stereo for relaxing while listening to your favorite tunes. Enjoy a drink at the Bar, or nap on the shaded Sundeck on the cushioned lounge chairs. Indulge yourself with the massage service or perhaps spend time in the dedicated Camera Room complete with a computer area with CD/DVD burning facilities to edit your dive photos. There is even a small shop for buying souvenirs. Depending on the itinerary, guests aboard Amira may be given the opportunity to go on shore excursions. Spend some time snorkeling, or experience dense Jungle and unforgettable interaction with the local villagers. The Amira will make your dive vacation a memory for a lifetime.
The Amira menu caters to the needs of divers
Each day will start with a freshly cooked breakfast and a cup of coffee or tea along with fresh juice. For convenience, lunch is served buffet-style and often includes local-styled curries. At the end of a wonderful day of diving, guests will enjoy an exquisite table dinner service. Cuisine includes delicious Western-style, BBQ, Indonesian cuisine and homemade desserts. Guests will also have access to freshly prepared snacks throughout the day. All juices, water and hot drinks are included during your stay on the Amira and soft drinks and beer are available for purchase. Special dietary considerations can be accommodated with advance notice.
