Capoeng is a traditional Indonesian liveaboard designed for divers seeking an authentic and intimate way to explore Komodo National Park.
Built with simplicity and character in mind, the boat offers a relaxed, small-group atmosphere where the focus is on genuine experiences, great diving, and connection with the ocean.
Operating primarily on short itineraries, Capoeng takes guests to some of Komodo’s most iconic dive sites, including Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, Batu Bolong, and Manta Point, as well as unique experiences such as night dives and visits to remote islands. Beyond diving, itineraries often include land excursions like meeting the Komodo dragons on Rinca Island and scenic hikes with panoramic views.
Life onboard is informal and social, with a maximum of eight guests, creating a friendly and personalized environment. Accommodation is simple yet comfortable, with a mix of shared bunk-bed cabins, a twin cabin, and a dorm-style option, some equipped with air conditioning.
Between dives, guests can unwind on the open deck or shaded areas, enjoy freshly prepared meals, and take in Komodo’s dramatic landscapes. Capoeng is not about luxury, but about delivering a well-rounded, immersive diving adventure where comfort, community, and exploration come together seamlessly.
