The Jaya is our expedition vessel, currently serving Eastern Indonesia.
She navigates seasonally between Cenderawasih Bay, Ambon, Banda, Raja Ampat, and undertakes long-range expeditions. Built 20 years ago, she has been sailing the waters of Southeast Asia under the command of her dedicated Captain, who has been with her since the beginning. Jaya is a strong, capable, and comfortable boat designed for exploration.
Jaya is designed as a Phinisi sailing schooner, constructed using traditional methods that have served the Bugis people of South Sulawesi for centuries. This hand-built vessel, completed over 18 months, looks stunning with her six sails raised.
The Upper Deck offers plenty of shaded space for lounging, napping, eating, or enjoying the breathtaking scenery. It includes four small tables with round-the-edge seating for relaxing between dives, doing logbooks, or playing games with the team.
The Sun Deck area is equipped with beanbags for napping, sunbathing, or star-gazing at night. All meals, snacks, and refreshments are included, with beers and soft drinks available for purchase.
Below deck, Jaya has 6 cabins: 4 twin bed share and 2 triple bed share, accommodating a total of 14 guests. There are 3 shared bathrooms with toilets and showers. Each cabin is equipped with an air conditioning unit, plug sockets (EU fitting), clean bedding, and a towel.
Land visits include walks to viewpoints, lagoon trips, or beach visits for sunsets or football with the crew. Guests are welcome to join beach clean-ups, and we often throw BBQs on special occasions when the location is suitable.
